- LEGALIZATION OF SCHOOL DOCUMENTS
Due
to the high number of applications received, the Consulate-General does
not confirm the receipt of documents neither checks the status of any
process over the phone or email.

A diploma or school transcript issued abroad will only be valid in Brazil if legalized by the Consulate-General.
- The Consulate-General only accepts documents from its jurisdiction: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and Northwest Territories.
REQUIREMENTS
The original diploma or school transcript (which must be on a school letterhead paper, with address, signature of the school's authority and official stamp and/or watermark stamp).
FEE:
- CAD$6.25 per document.
- CAD$18.75 for 3 or more documents from the same student bundled together.
FORMS OF PAYMENT:
- Money order or certified cheque only.
- Must be payable to the "Consulate-General of Brazil".
- The Consulate-General does not accept payments made by cash, personal cheques or debit/ credit cards.
MAIL SERVICE:
- The Consulate-General accepts services by mail. In this case, a pre-paid and self-addressed envelope (from Canada Post only, XpressPost or Priority Courier) must be included so the documents can be returned to the sender when ready.
- Make sure you have both tracking numbers for your own control. Due to the large number of documents received everyday, the Consulate is unable to confirm the arrival of any application.
- The Consulate-General is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or delayed mail.
