- AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS
Due to the high number of applications received, the Consulate does not confirm the receipt of documents and does not check the status of any process over the phone or by email.
The Consulate authenticates copies of Brazilian documents for different purposes.
Authentication can only be done with the original document.
FEE: CAD$6.25 per page
FORMS OF PAYMENT:
- Money order or certified cheque only.
- Must be made out to "Consulate-General of Brazil".
- The Consulate does not accepts payments by cash, personal cheques or debit/ credit cards.
APPLICATIONS BY MAIL:
- Requests for authentication of documents can be done by mail.
- The request must include a prepaid and self-addressed envelope (Canada Post XpressPost or Priority Courier only) for return.
- Please make sure you have both tracking numbers for your own control. Due to the large number of documents received everyday, the Consulate is unable to confirm the arrival of any application.
- The Consulate is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or delayed mail.
- Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned.
